Rebecca Lisi has been a strong voice for progressive politics in Holyoke for some ten years now, and it has been a privilege to support her campaign efforts through website design.
I built Councilor Lisi’s first campaign website in Blogger, which was in some ways the “value platform” of its day. That old site used a mixture of static HTML pages and blog entries to allow her to maintain some of her own content, but it also required tedious busy-work on the part of her designer (!) each election cycle when the site needed updating. Its worst flaw was that it wasn’t responsive for devices—as every site must be today.
For the 2015 election, I rebuilt Lisi’s campaign site in WordPress, which allows her to change virtually everything about the site herself. It looks better, works better in all devices, and is easier to maintain. So pleased to help this candidate continue to do what she does for the people of Holyoke and for our region.
I’ve worked with Bill on creating the website for my political career and campaigns since 2005. Bill always seems to be up to date on the industry’s best practices. This has created a great amount of ease and efficiency with which I can personally update the site content and maintain my web presence. I also appreciate Bill’s desire to build momentum and bring a project we are working on to completion.
